Irish Star Delighted With WWE Deal
Joe Cabray and Rachel Walker, two veterans of the Irish ring are set to move to Florida to begin the next chapter of their wrestling career, following in the footsteps of Dubliner Sheamus, who is a two time WWE champion.
Cabray, who wrestles under the ring name Omen, will head to the states next week while Walker, more commonly known as Rachelle St Claire will make her move later this year when she recovers from a knee injury.
Both will undergo training and will possibly see their characters repackaged at Florida Championship Wrestling ,the developmental territory for the WWE.
30 year old Cabray was delighted with his move saying “It’s means a great deal to me, I’ve trained hard for the past 8 years and made a lot of sacrifices, I’ve travelled everywhere from Tokyo to New York to Berlin with wrestling and finally made it to WWE. I feel honoured because there are literally hundreds of thousands of young independent pro wrestlers around the world yet only a couple of hundred have a contract with WWE”.
No Limit Wrestling co founder Cabray is firmly on the path to the top, some superstars get fast tracked to the main card but the Dublin born star is prepared to grind his way to the top in the hopes of one day becoming world champion.
“For the future, I know all the hard work is ahead of me but I’m ready for the challenge”.
